Host: The China University of Political Science and Law

The objective of this program is to establish a more comprehensive mutual relationship between American law schools and the law schools of the People’s Republic of China (PRC). This conference will provide a forum for American and Chinese legal educators to learn about each other’s educational systems and curricular requirements as well as exchange ideas and experiences. Among other topics, participants will be able to discuss programs and projects to facilitate faculty and student exchanges between the two countries, distance learning, and post-graduate opportunities in both countries. Deans, directors of international programs, and others interested in cooperation with law schools in the People’s Republic of China are urged to attend.

The Conference begins Thursday, March 31 (9:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. – Registration; 7:00 p.m. – Welcome Banquet). Conference programs begin Friday, April 1 through Saturday, April 2 (program sessions with lunch and dinner included each day) with an Optional Tour Day on Sunday, April 3.
